Manager Paul Holleran has utilised his extensive contacts book to acquire the services of Colchester United Under 23 Captain Charley Edge on an initial one month loan. The attacking midfield player is included in the squad for todays game at Darlington.

Charley, who hails from Oswestry, has represented Wales at Under 16 and Under 17 level. He began his career at Swansea City, moving on to Stoke City before completing a two year Scholarship with Everton.

During his time at Colchester he has spent time on loan at local non league side Maldon and Tiptree, scoring 5 goals in 8 appearances, and made his first team debut for the U's in February of this year.

We would like to welcome Charley to Leamington Football Club and hope he enjoys his time with us. He made a solid debut at Darlington today.
