Leamington have completed their third new signing of the summer with the arrival of midfielder Simeon Maye.

The 25 year old finished last season with our Vanarama National League North rivals Brackley Town, having started it at Hereford. He began his career as a youngster at Birmingham City, getting his first taste of the non league game at Tamworth and Stratford Town before starting to establish himself at Boldmere St Michaels. He then moved to Redditch United, playing under Liam McDonald at the Valley Stadium before following him to Hednesford Town, Solihull Moors and later Rushall Olympic.

'It is not the first time we have tried to sign Simeon,' said Brakes boss Paul Holleran. Obviously with Callum Maycock going back to Coventry after his loan spell it just left a bit of a hole in there. We've been looking for the right kind of player to fill that and feel we have found him in Simeon.

'He is an energetic, box to box player which is just what you need in this division and we are delighted to get him on board. I am sure he will enjoy his time at Leamington.'
