Callum will be Brakes new number 1 this season, and arrives as our first new signing of the summer, with a reputation as one of the most promising young goalkeepers in the area, having helped Walsall Wood into Step 4 for the first time in their history last season as they won the Midland League title.
The 21 year old has previously spent time working alongside Tony Breeden at Nuneaton Borough, before dropping down to Step 6 with Wolverhampton Sporting Community. His performances caught the eye of Paul Holleran, and he now has the opportunity to test himself at Step 3.
Josh begins his second season with Leamington after signing from Halesowen Town having been part of the Yeltz squad that won the Northern Premier League Midland Division play offs in 2023.
The versatile and experienced 32 year old can operate in midfield, but made the left back slot his own last season, providing some important assists, not least the ones which helped us to win both play off games.
He began his career at Cheltenham Town, spending loan spells at Worcester City and Bromsgrove Rovers before stints with Evesham United and Redditch United, Stourbridge and Coleshill Town prior to signing for Bromsgrove Sporting in 2017. He helped the Rouslers to the Midland League title, and spent four seasons at the Victoria Ground before switching to Halesowen in 2022.
Henry joined Leamington from Banbury United in the summer of 2023 having spent the previous three seasons with our Oxfordshire rivals, winning the Southern League Premier Division Central title in 2022 before helping the Puritans consolidate in the National League North. However, the 24 year old decided it was time for a new challenge, and with 12 goals in 47 appearances as part of a completely new strike force Henry played a big part in our promotion success last season.
He began his career in Oxford City’s youth system, and has also played for Maidenhead United and North Leigh, where his goals got him noticed higher up the pyramid.
Henry was a fans favourite at Banbury for his knack of scoring crucial goals, and bagged 19 in 92 appearances despite not always playing as an out and out striker.
Paul Holleran fought off competition from Warwickshire rivals Nuneaton Borough to sign Jiah, who quickly became a firm favourite of the Brakes support with his desire to make things happen on the pitch and his infectious enthusiasm.
Having played for Nuneaton on dual registration the previous season, the versatile youngster was all set to return to the wrong corner of God’s County, until Hollers stepped in to persuade him that joining Leamington would be a better move, and his prophecy turned out to be correct, as Jiah ended the season with a promotion winners medal.
Previously with Yeovil Town academy and then at Step 4 with Shepshed Dynamo prior to joining Brakes in summer 2023, the 21 year old will be determined to increase his involvement this season as he gets his first taste of Step 2 football.
The lure of Leamington finally proved too much for Tyrone Barnett in the summer of 2023, and he finally signed for us, some 15 years after we first tried to get him!!
The 37 year old arrives having top scored for Hereford last season, and his vast experience in the Football League will be of great benefit to his team mates. He will also provide the focal point in attack that manager Paul Holleran feels we have missed for some time now.
Tyrone began his career under Holleran at Rushall Olympic, before goal laden spells with Willenhall and Hednesford Town earned a crack at the professional game with Macclesfield Town. He went on to appear for Crawley Town before a £1.1 Million move to Peterborough United in the Championship, and has also played for a number of other EFL clubs before dropping back into Non League with Eastleigh.
