Signed from: Hereford
Brakes debut: 04/08/18 @ Altrincham - Vanarama National League North - Drew 2-2
2018/2019: 15 starts, 8 sub appearances, 1 goal
James became Paul Holleran's fourth new signing in the summer of 2018, having finished the previous season with Hereford FC.
Having started the season with The Bulls, James was snapped up by Solihull Moors in October but a managerial change eventually saw him return to Edgar Street to help Peter Beadle's side to the Southern League title.
The 22 year old began his career at Cheltenham Town, making several appearances for the Robins' first team before loan spells at Bishops Cleeve, Evesham United, Gloucester City and Hereford. After his release from Cheltenham he spent a season at Stafford Rangers in the Northern Premier League.
James scored his only goal for us in the Birmingham Senior Cup tie at Sutton Coldfield Town, and though he left for Redditch United towards the end of the season he returned as a substitute to help Brakes win the competition in April.
