Luke arrived at the club in the summer of 2008, and is somewhat unique in that he actually contacted Jason Cadden himself asking to come and play for Leamington. He had been top scorer for previous club Bishops Cleeve in the same division, but formed part of a deadly strike partnership with Mark Bellingham that between them scored 67 of our 114 league goals as the team won the Southern League Midland Division title. Luke quickly endeared himself to the Leamington support when scoring a spectacular late winner after coming on as a substitute against Nuneaton Town in our first home game of 2008/09.

His goals return was healthy in the following two seasons at a higher level, his non stop running and passionate performances proving a real hit with Brakes fans, but he sadly left the club in 2011 after an offer from his hometown club Worcester City, who were playing a level higher in the Conference North at the time. However, Luke returned on loan in the December of that year, playing a further 16 games and adding another two goals to his tally for us.
