Louis Atkinson was a highly rated player from the Brakes academy who made his debut as a 16 year old towards the end of our Midland Combination Divsion 2 title winning season, coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 'away' win against Kenilworth Wardens, a game that was actually played at the New Windmill Ground. There were high hopes for Louis but the spine of the team was so strong in our first couple of seasons back that it was difficult for any player to break through, despite the level we were playing at.

The statistics for the 2001/02 season indicate that he made one start for us before departing for Racing Club Warwick early on, but it is unclear which game this was in as he does not appear in any of the team line ups.
