Leamington lad Ryan Parisi originally signed for Brakes back in late 2002 as a striker, but never actually played in that position for Leamington, becoming established as a defender over the seasons as he became more involved with the squad. Injuries prevented Ryan from playing more games than he did, but he played at three different levels of the Non League Pyramid for his home town club, and the fans appreciated his work rate and identified with him more as the local lads in the team became more scarce as the club moved through the leagues.
