Avun Jephcott played for many non league clubs around the Midlands after his release by Coventry City, signing for Leamington early in 2007. He scored after just 29 seconds of his debut at Biddulph Victoria, and played a big part in the eventual double success despite joining so late in the season. He grabbed the winner in a 4-3 victory at Loughborough Dynamo, a hat trick in the first leg of the League Cup Semi Final against Atherstone Town, and then stepped off the bench to grab the late equaliser in the final against Tipton Town at the Bescot Stadium which set up victory, yet Avun did not stay long into the following campaign, his only goal in 9 appearances coming in the first minute of a 1-0 win against Chesham United. A short stay it may have been, but Avun Jephcott made a memorable impact.
