The club are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Will Shorrock.
The 24 year old began his career at Walsall, making his first team debut as a 17 year old in 2016.
Will then signed for Bromsgrove Sporting ahead of their debut season in the Southern League in 2018, helping the Rouslers to an immediate promotion to the Premier Division.
His consistent performances caught the eye of Rushall boss Liam McDonald, who snapped him up in the summer of 2022, and Will was a key member of the Pics squad which won promotion to the National League North for the first time, making 35 appearances and scoring 12 goals, while also contributing 10 assists.
Described by his former manager as an attack minded and creative midfielder who can play off the centre forward, Paul Holleran will be hoping that Will's attributes can help to kick start Brakes' season back into life, and that he can have a similar impact in his first season with us to what he had at Bromsgrove and Rushall.
'Will is a young, energetic, versatile player who fits the criteria of the type of player we are looking to bring into the club,' said the manager.
'He has gained plenty of experience at this level over the last few seasons, and we are looking forward to working with him.'
Will, whose favoured position is off the left wing or in the number 10 role, said 'I'm looking forward to getting started and helping the team reach their targets and hopefully helping out with goal contributions along the way,'
We would like to welcome Will to Leamington Football Club, and hope that he enjoys a successful time with us.
