Ryan Quinn signed for Leamington shortly before the start of the 2016/17 season after impressing during pre season. The young midfielder impressed on his all too rare appearances for Brakes that season, but was unable to nail down a regular place in the team. 

Ryan began his career in the Coventry City academy, and joined then National League side Nuneaton Town after being released by the Sky Blues in 2014. He finished the season with Coventry Sphinx, and returned to the Midland League club after the 2015/16 season at Chasetown, establishing himself in the side after scoring two long range goals in a thrilling FA Vase win at Black Country Rangers in which Sphinx were three goals down with five minutes remaining.
