Josh Blake Testimonial

Josh Blake

Long serving Brakes legend Josh Blake has been granted a testimonial for his 10 years outstanding service to the club.  Ever popular Josh who is currently on loan at Daventry Town is still hopeful of fighting his way back into the Brakes first team.

Josh scored the opening goal for the Brakes in August 2000 on the resurrection of the club in Division 2 of the Midland Football Combination and is the only player who has succeeded in representing the Brakes at every level since reformation in the exciting progress of the club.  His contribution has been immense.

The testimonial will take place at 2pm on Sunday 25th April at the New Windmill Ground between a Brakes All Star X1 and a Non-League All Star X1.  Representatives of the Supporters Club, Vice Presidents Club and Club Ambassador Brian Knibb will be involved in planning the event.  Further details will be published in due course.
