Dan has been one of our most consistent performers over the last two seasons, making 99 appearances, and delighted the Brakes support when turning down offers to remain at Step 2 to stay at the club, where he is enjoying his football. 

Having initially joined for what turned out to be a brief loan spell at the end of the Covid curtailed 2019/20 campaign, Dan returned on a permanent basis after being released by parent club West Bromwich Albion, where he had progressed through the Baggies’ academy and turned out regularly for their Under 23’s. 

He had to wait patiently for his opportunity to break into the side, but when his chance arrived he grabbed it with both hands, something that has been highlighted both by the amount of games he has played in the past two years, and also the fact that he has collected, Players, Supporters and Managers’ Player of the Season awards. 

Having also represented Scotland at Youth level, Dan spent a spell on loan in the National League at Maidstone United in 2019.
