The younger brother of Richard, Jon joined his sibling at Leamington early in the 2004/05 season. He scored his first goal in the November at Massey Ferguson in a Birmingham FA Midweek Cup tie, and went on to become a mainstay of the midfield over the next 2 years, scoring some spectacular goals (He actually finished as our top scorer in 2005/2006, one ahead of his brother, who left us in the February)
Along with a Midland Combination Premier Division title winners medal, Jon also helped Jason Cadden's side to the Midland Alliance League and Cup double in 2006/07. His performances for Leamington helped pave the way for a good career in the higher echelons on the Non League Pyramid at the likes of AFC Telford United, Tamworth and Nuneaton Town, along with more priceless memories from the FA Cup.
Jon is definitely one of the most popular players of the modern era at Leamington FC.
