Henry joined Leamington from Banbury United in the summer of 2023 having spent the previous three seasons with our Oxfordshire rivals, winning the Southern League Premier Division Central title in 2022 before helping the Puritans consolidate in the National League North. However, the 24 year old decided it was time for a new challenge, and with 12 goals in 47 appearances as part of a completely new strike force Henry played a big part in our promotion success last season.
He began his career in Oxford City’s youth system, and has also played for Maidenhead United and North Leigh, where his goals got him noticed higher up the pyramid.
Henry was a fans favourite at Banbury for his knack of scoring crucial goals, and bagged 19 in 92 appearances despite not always playing as an out and out striker. He bettered that in two seasons with Brakes, but opted to leave the club in the summer of 2025 after the travelling from his Oxford home became too much.
