Dan initially arrived at Leamington for what turned out to be a very brief loan spell towards the end of the Covid curtailed 2019/20 campaign. He returned on a permanent basis the following season after being released by parent club West Bromwich Albion, where he had progressed through the Baggies’ academy and turned out regularly for their Under 23’s. 

Although he had to wait patiently for his opportunity to break into the side, since his chance arrived he has barely looked back, and has easily been one of our most consistent performers over the last four seasons; a fact borne out by the number of club awards he has collected - Supporters and Players Player of the season being the latest ones at the end of 2023/24. He also passed 150 appearances for the club during our promotion winning campaign; marking the occasion with a rare goal, and grabbed another last season, as he ended the season with his 200th appearance for the club. 

Having also represented Scotland at Youth level, Dan spent a spell on loan in the National League at Maidstone United in 2019.
