Paul Holleran has confirmed that both Cieron Keane and Ravi Shamsi have left the football club today.
Both have featured in 12 of our 16 games so far this season but were unable to nail down a regular starting place as they were working their way back from injury at the beginning of the campaign. Cieron started six games and made six substitute appearances while Ravi started one and made eleven appearances from the bench, most notably at AFC Telford United where his two fantastic goals won us the game.
'Both players have found it difficult as they were injured at the back end of last season and the beginning of this one so they have had to try and get up to speed, which hasn't been easy,' said the manager.
'Both lads need to be playing regular first team football for that to happen and that is not something that I am able to guarantee them at the moment.
'Having had a chat with both players we have come to a mutual agreement that at this time they would both be better off elsewhere.
'I would like to thank both Cieron and Ravi for their efforts while at Leamington and wish them all the best in their careers moving forward.'
