Jamie signed for Leamington from Coventry Sphinx
before the start of the 2006-07 season. He can play either
on the right or in the centre of midfield, but is best known for his pinpoint crossing.
His previous
clubs include Barnt Green Spartak and Coventry
Marconi. While
at Marconi he played for the Midland Combination Representative
XI in the FA National League Systems Cup along side Leamington's
Steve Thompson who captained a side that include several Brakes
players. A deserved joint winner of the "Player of the Year" award
with Jon Adams at the end of the double-winning 2006-7 campaign,
Jamie created more than his fair share of Brakes goals.
Jamie signed a two-year contract with Nuneaton Borough in
June 2007 but made a surprise return to the New Windmill Ground when rejoining Leamington
on loan for a month on 25 October. This loan was subsequently extended and
on 29 January 2008 he made a welcome - proper - return to the
Brakes. |
