Signed 9 September 2003 from Rugby Town, Martin got off to an excellent start, rising fast up the goal-scorers list before picking up an injury.

A strong, bustling forward always known to the North Bank as "Clunesy", he was dogged by injury but after a close-season operation in 2005 was a revelation leading the line in 2006-7 and surprised many with his performances at the higher level of the BGB Midland Division in 2007-8.

Martin moved on to Bedworth United in May 2008.
