Dale played for Coventry City's reserve side, having been on the books of the clubs youth academy. In pre season 2007-08 he signed for Quorn before moving on to a brief spell at Corby Town. Dale signed for Leamington just before Christmas 2007 but did not break into the regular squad and by the end of the season was reckoned to be gone. Made just 3 substite appearances.
