Scott signed for Leamington on 19 March 2008.
He began his playing career at Hinckley United, coming up through youth ranks and making nine appearances, but could not establish himself in the side and moved on to Bedworth United in May 2003.
After completing a season an a half with Bedworth, Scott moved on and made his debut for Bromsgrove Rovers on 12 February 2005. He made 33 appearances, 6 more as substitute, and scored 11 goals in the 2005-6 season. This included a hat trick against Cinderford Town on 27 December 2005 and for a while was Rovers' top scorer.
Scott signed for Halesowen Town on 4 January 2006 but moved on to Hednesford on 2 March 2006. His stay there was also short for he signed for Brackley Town in June 2006.
