Signed 14 June 2006 from Sutton Coldfield Town. Captain of Nuneaton Borough's youth team in 2000-01, Adam was loaned to Bedworth United and Solihull Borough twice before making his move to Solihull permanent in October 2003. He signed for Evesham United before the start of 2005-06 and played against the Brakes in a preseason friendly. Adam signed for Sutton Coldfield Town from Evesham United in November 2005. A strong, no nonsense defender, Adam played a key part in Brakes promotion from the Midland Football Alliance and in the excellent first season in the BGB Football League Midland Division.
