Brakes aim to go one better

After the disappointment of missing out on promotion, the Board has met to consider plans for next season.
We have had discussions with manager, Jason Cadden, and coach, Morton Titterton, about their thoughts on the squad for next season. As always, decisions on signing players are entirely down to the management team, but the Board recognises the quality within the squad and their wish to ensure continuity and strengthening where needed.
The Board has agreed a budget for running the club which it believes will enable a realstic challenge to be mounted for the title, as well as continuing to develop facilities at the New Windmill Ground.
In particular, we want to provide more cover for fans in inclement weather and, having considered all the options, have decided to proceed with terracing the Harbury Lane end which we feel offers the most cost effective way forward. We are encouraged by the efforts of the Supporters Club in helping to raise funds towards this work and would like to have it in place by the first pre-season friendly.
We will continue to be financially prudent, not spending beyond our means and have no intention of buying success at any cost.
We will be looking to increase our revenue streams through additional sponsorship and advertising, but also feel that, in the light of charges made by other clubs, we should review our admission for next season. There will be an increase of £1, making the new figures:
*Full admission - £7 (season ticket £115)
*Seniors (over 60) - £4 (season ticket £60)
*Juniors (5-16) - £3 (season ticket £35)
We are pleased to welcome Harvey Hunt, Managing Director of partner sponsor ACS Building & Maintenance, to the Board. Harvey will have special responsibility for community development working alongside Jim Scott.
