Summer acquisition Alex Cowley has suffered a set-back to his immediate Brakes future by sustaining a foot injury that looks likely  to keep him out of contention for four to six weeks.

Brakes Manager Paul Holleran has further strengthened his squad with the signing of former Under 21 Republic of Ireland defender Darren Stapleton.
