The club is pleased to announce that former Brakes Committee man and Chairman of the Supporters Club Ted Forde has stepped forward to take on the role of PA Announcer at the New Windmill Ground.

Ted first watched the Brakes in the early 50's as a young lad and has had an ongoing involvement and commitment to the club ever since.    He played for  the Reserves in the late 50's before moving on to play for Warwick Town.  In the late 60's and early 70's he had a spell as Trainer/Coach under the management of Jimmy Knox and also had a spell as Manager of the Under 18 Team.

He was subsequently a member of the Committee who played a part in the resurrection of Leamington FC and is a former Chairman of the Supporters Club.  He said, "I am delighted to be able to play an active part in supporting the club and look forward to my new role and involvement within the club".

The club wishes to thank former announcer Keith Hancock for his efforts last season and also Paul Crane who carried out the role for many seasons and the early part of last season.   They have both given significant time and commitment to the club.
