Known to everyone at Leamington as TJ, Tom began his career in our Youth set up, and after progressing to the first team was part of Jason Cadden’s Midland Alliance double winning squad in 2006/07. He returned on a loan spell from Nuneaton Town in 2012/13 and then permanently from Hednesford Town in 2017. He has now become part of the coaching staff at the Phillips 66 Community Stadium.
He then moved on to our near neighbours Stratford, where he caught the eye of the then Watford manager Sean Dyche, and realised his dream of becoming a professional when the Hornets signed him on a 1 year deal in the summer of 2011, and he made his debut in an FA Cup 3rd round tie against Bradford City at Vicarage Road.
Since then Tom has gained a wealth of experience playing mainly in the National League North for Nuneaton Town, Corby Town, Tamworth and Hednesford Town, along with a spell at Daventry Town, reaching the FA Cup 1st Round.
