We are pleased to announce that Ray Parlour has been confirmed as the next guest speaker in the latest of our Sportsman's Dinner series.
The event will be held in the Redland Suite at Woodland Grange, Old Milverton Lane, Leamington Spa on Friday 3rd March 2017 at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:45pm for pre-dinner drinks in the Lounge Bar.
Ray is most recognised for not only his football career, but for his blonde curls and his nickname ‘Romford Pele’. His Arsenal career began in 1992 as a young midfielder who later bloomed under the management of Arsene Wenger. In 2004 Ray left on a high note for Middlesborough where he stayed until 2007, before transferring to Hull City. Ray is now a regular on TalkSport Radio and Sky Sports as well as being a fantastic name on the after dinner circuit.
Ray will supported on the evening by comedian, John Stiles. John is a former professional footballer, but always lived in the shadow of his famous father Nobby, and uncle, Johnny Giles. Always the joker in the changing room, he made the natural progression in becoming a comedian.
As usual, we will be serving a two course dinner, expertly produced in-house by the Woodland Grange chefs.
Tickets cost £50 or a table of 10 can be booked for £450. Space is limited so please book early to avoid missing what is sure to be a fun filled night.
