Paul Holleran has made his first signing for the club to be assisted by the Twelfth Man Fund, bringing in highly rated young attacking midfielder Zak Lilly on a month loan deal from AFC Telford United.
The 18 year old spent his early years at West Bromwich Albion's academy, and has also represented England at schoolboy level. He also spent a successful loan spell at Sutton Coldfield Town last season.
Holleran said 'I felt we need to freshen things up after last week. Zak is a young lad who we have been keeping an eye on for a while, I watched him when he was at Sutton last season. He is very highly thought of by the management at Telford, and will boost our attacking options higher up the pitch.
Sadly with one player arriving, another is leaving the club in Rob Elvins. 'I'd like to go on record and express my thanks to Rob for his time with us,' said the Brakes boss. 'He joined the club to help us towards the end of last season, coming out of 'retirement', and has always been a top professional. He is at an age where if he needs to be playing consistently, and we wish him all the best if he decides to continue.'
