Paul Holleran has added another new face to his squad for the forthcoming season with Darren Pond agreeing terms after Tuesday evening's training session.
The 29 year old attacking midfielder spent 7 years at National League South side Oxford City after starting his career at Banbury United. He made over 300 appearances, was involved in two promotion campaigns and was also club captain. He featured in our recent friendlies against Racing Club Warwick and Birmingham City.
Of his new signing, the Brakes boss said; 'We have been on the lookout for another experienced head to help bring balance to the team. Darren has all the attributes required and chipped in with his fair share of goals while at Oxford, so will provide another outlet as we look to boost our goals scored column this season.'
We welcome Darren to the club and hope he enjoys a similarly successful time with us.
